The following table lists common paper sizes (codes shown in bold are ISO standard): | Sheet Size / Name | Metric Measurement | Imperial Measurement | A5 | 148 * 210mm | 5.4 * 8.3" | A4 | 210 * 297mm | 8.3 * 11.7" | A3 | 297 * 420mm | 11.7 * 16.5" | A3+ (Super A3, Oversize A3 etc) | 329 * 483mm | 13 * 19" | A2 | 420 * 594mm | 16.5 * 23.4" | For a very useful explanation of the ISO paper standard sizes, you may like to refer to this link by Markus Kuhn. Details of the acceptable tolerance for A series paper sizes is discussed in the link above; however it is reasonable to expect variation of paper sizes by a little bit. Useful Roll Paper Sizes Roll papers for inkjet printers are not typically ‘standard’ sizes; but are of course biased in design to the width of available printers. The following table summarises the approximate conversion from imperial to metric that should be used when looking for roll sizes: | Printer Carriage Width | Approx Equivalent Metric | Example Printers | 13" | 330mm | Epson 1290, 2100 etc | 17" | 430mm | Epson 4000 | 24" | 610mm | Epson 7000, 7500, 7600 | 36" | 914mm | | 44" | 1118mm | Epson 9000, 9500, 9600, 10000, 10600 | Please note that MWORDS has closed.
