Ink is supplied from bottles kept at the right side of the printer, through flexible tubes to an altered cartridge. The cartridges and tubes are sealed so that when ink is fired from the head, ink is sucked from the cartridge, which itself sucks ink from the line and from the bottle. An air-vent tube in the bottle cap allows air into the bottle whilst preventing evaporation of the ink. As the print head moves back and forth, it ink-lines follow it, but the larger ink bottles are placed (static!) at the right side of the printer. As ink in the bottle runs down, you can carefully unscrew the cap and pour more ink in! The cartridge is always nearly 99% full! Please note that MWORDS has closed.
