What's Cools about the NoMoreCarts CIS?

Let's See What we have Here!

What we really like about the NoMoreCarts CIS is that is really is a complete, neat, system (without the ink, unless you buy a CIS and Ink Bundle!). You get the nice, solid, support arm for the ink lines, good rubber tubes specifically designed for holding a vacuum, neat rubber ‘bungs’ to raise the printer lid slightly, and excellent instructions (we wrote them ourselves!), and of course our video-training CD! The lines into the cartridge are also supported very well and the design reduces strain on the entry point of the line into the cartridge proper. The only printer modification is to remove the cartridge holder lids, which can easily be replaced without damage. The use of breather lines also helps stop critical evaporation of the ink.

The CIS system cartridges have sponges that have a very open hole structure. Our customers have had great success with at least 2 different brands of dye sublimation inks, many archival pigment based inks, and many more archival and Epson equivalent dye based inks - all with the same cartridges. So far we have not found any ink that can be successfully used in Epsons that these carts cannot handle.

** Whilst we firmly believe in the capabilities of these Continuous Ink Systems ability to feed many varied types of inks, we are regrettably not able to support those who choose a brand of ink that we do not sell. There are many ink manufacturers out there who will sell you ink and say it is compatible with your printer... but neglect to mention how quickly it fades, or how different in colour it may be from the OEM inks for your printer... or what papers it will not work on.
In contrast, we endeavour to publish this information about the inks we sell, and we also have extensive experience of using most of the inks. We have also rejected inks which we have felt do not meet our standards. **

You also have the option of getting the accessory bottle holders and EZ-Plugs to cap cartridges in the CIS Accessories department.

If the installation procedure is carried out with a little care, the CIS can be uninstalled and the printer returned to use with Epson Cartridges. This may be useful to you if you temporarily wanted to use other cartridges, or in the scenario when you needed to return the printer to Epson under warranty.

Finally - well, we’re all grown up now and we shouldn’t enjoy something like this, but priming the system with a vacuum and watching the ink get sucked into the tubes and cartridge is FUN!
